Houston Fun and Such
Well, we just got home a little bit ago from a long day of fun. Went to the Astros game tonight and then went to a Revenge of the Nerds party at some bar. Pretty hilarious to see some of the outfits. Then we tried to go eat at this Greek place that my friends like. After waiting for 20 minutes without even a "Hi, I'll be with you in just a moment," my friend Abbie was upset and went inside to talk to the employees. (Did I mention that this one waitress made eye contact with our friend Jim on FIVE different occasions when she helped other tables? It's not like they didn't know we were there!) They weren't very helpful. After speaking with 3 different waiters, she found the manager and talked to him about the shitty service we were getting. Yes, it was 3am, but after 20 minutes you'd think we'd at least get a hello and here are some waters and a menu. nada. Oh yeah, and I forgot to mention that other customers were laughing at Abbie. Ummm, I guess they were getting service! Sorry we aren't Greek, A-holes.
So Abbie goes back inside. Tells teh manager the story. He says they are slammed and that we should go to teh West Grey Cafe. Seriously? WTF? What manager tells customers to go elsewhere?? Fuckin insane. So this waiter finally comes out and says, "are you the table that's been waiting?What do you want? I say, I need a menu, I've never been here. We order 4 waters, wait a minute, get more pissed off and decide to just leave. We aren't gigivn them our business. Not a probelm for me b/c we end up at Chacho's....this excellent Mexican place that I haven' been to in 2 years. Yum yum.
So,k it all wokred out. We will just NEVER go back tgo the other place. I'm not even goin to tell you the name b/c that might give them some business. Jus tknow that theyh SUCKL!
OH yeah, and i got tired of bvack spacing to fix spelling errors since i'vce been drinking.l so deal with it.
can't wati to post the pictures tomorrw. i'm off to bed since it's freaking 4:30am central time. that crazy brownie is gonna be up in 30 minutes to climb a mountain and i'm just going to bedl. crazy.
