Past Weekend: Crappy day, Christmas Party and Austin Hashmas Party

So Friday the 16th started off totally crappy. Got yelled at by a couple of people and didn't really know why....and I hadn't even made it to work that morning. Unnecessarily over-dramatic people need to chill the fuck out. I have no need for that type of person in my life.

Luckily, it was our company Christmas luncheon that day, so we got released from work early. The ladies in my department all went out for wine and I hung out for a little bit. Then decided to go home and catch up on sleep and forget the day. Friday night my co-worker had a Holiday Party that really brightened my spirits. It was obviously a great time because I didn't leave until 3am. Here is the drunk host himself in the pic.

Saturday night was the Austin Hashmas Party. It started off slow, but ended up being fun. When I left at 4am, Day Old Fish was alseep in the front room....without any Sharpie marks. Wonder if anyone ever got him? Thanks to Lewis & Cock for opening up his home for this event! Here are the pictures....

Sunday my friend Lesley and I decided to skip the hash. We hung out like bums all day long watching movies, chatting and sleeping. Did I tell you how much we both like gravy from Whataburger?! Was nice to just relax and chill at home. So, I have no hash flash to share from Sunday.

Looking forward to the short work week and the holiday weekend! :)

Dude, where is there a Whataburger at around here? I kknow they are opening one by Lil Woodrows, their gravy rocks! BTW, made it through the whole evening with out a Sharpie mark. I think everyone was frightened I would wake up and start partying again. I was dragged out about 5 by the Asians.

Dude....it's closer to me than you. On IH-35 frontage road between Wells Branch and Howard. My back gate hits Howard, so it's a pretty drive. Yummmmm, gravy......... I don't know what's better to dip french fries in: gravy or queso. They both rock!

I don't think I have eaten Whataburger since I have moved to Austin. In Fort Worth, there was one in my neighborhood, Taquito's, fries, gravy

Now all I need to do is figure out somewhere near here that has really good fries for lunch. @G any suggestions? Since you used to live down the street.

As bad as McD's may be....their fries are wonderful.

yeah but their fries this time of year, you get drive through and they are cold by the time you get to where you are going. Which means you have to eat there, which means eating their other crap.

Losers, all of you. It'll be a cold day in hell before I ever go into a McD's. I've hated them long before "Supersize Me" came out but that certainly reinforced my views.

I love McD's. My son just had his birthday party there. We made such a mess and I didn't have to clean it up. It was great.

In college, I would go through the Wendy's drive thru for a chicken sandwich, then the McD's drive thru for their fries!

Thank you all for making Austin another generic California-like city. Every dollar yunz guys spend at a chain kills our fine city a little more.

You can get a burger and fries for cheaper at Crown or Dirty's or Mom's than you can at McD's, and it's a lot more food.

If I have to eat fast food, it is Whataburger, though that's rare. And I've eaten at the original one in Corpus.

I have never heard of getting a real hamburger and fries for less then $2, but I guess I will just have to go there and see for myself. If I have to I will just do the dishes to pay for my meal.

Never heard of Chester's. Hmm, burger with breakfast sausage sounds interesting...and my pics won't be ready to be picked up until Weds from Precision, so I don't have to go in that direction.
