Snowdown Recap
Ok, so on the Thursday night before Snowdown, we all gathered at Bone Sucker's house to load up the car and pack the luggage on top of the car. Seven hashers in one Suburban...until we got to Odessa...Then 8 hashers in a 7-seat 'burban. Was gonna be a cozy ride. Ended up taking out the 3rd seat once we got to Odessa in order to make more room. Turned out to be kind of nice because you could lie down and sleep a little. At one pit stop/gas refueling, I got out of the car to play in the snow. Whoo-hoo! Snow!!! We also hit a snow storm while driving. Luckily, no ice...just snow. What a pretty sight.
Anyway, we were pretty close to Durango when it was about lunch time on Friday. So we pulled over to eat at the Triangle Cafe. Wow. You should have seen how much food they served us. I swear, each plate could feed at least 2 people...maybe 3! I asked for a side of gravy and got a gigantic bowl of it. Everyone in that place was pretty huge too.
Think we got to the hash hotel around 1pm. So we had an hour to check in and mill around before we could check in with hash registration. Ran into some old friends from previous hashes and met some new folks. Hashers are so darn friendly! I just love going to out of town events.
Ok, so don't have time to finish recapping everything and people want the pics. I didn't really even take that many on this trip...oh well. Let's just say this:

- 16 hours is a long time in a Suburban with 8 people when it only seats 7
- Apple pie shots in the hot tub are fun!
- Making snow angels is cool when you rarely get to see snow
- Always bring your Camelbak to a Colorado trail b/c who knows when you'll finally get to the beer check!
- Zuberfizz Soda Shop was a great hasher hangout bar thingee-ma-bopper
- Drunken, naked, secret lovers makes for good jokes the entire weekend
- Are your headlights on?
- Your meat is so big!
- Ska beer and my stomach do not get along
- Wish I would've discovered the waffle machine earlier!
- The Ska hash float won for best music
- Secret rendezvous meetings are fun
- Midget porn!
- Finding poop and poop references on trail for my Kimchi buddies was classic
- Next year: skip the follies and go hot tubbing!
- Bone Sucker and Dead Whore Dave hauled ASS while I slept in the cargo area in order to get me to work semi-on time Monday morning. Thanks guys!
- We found booty on trail
- Arrrrr!

Dang I wish you had a picture of the "secret lovers". I can relate to almost all of those! Why didn't you kick your roomie out so you could rendevous longer? She was probably drunk and not thinking....
Can you imagine if the Kimchi hosted an event? There would be half hour trails and a beer game olympics tournament everyday.
And poop. Lots and lots of poop.
...cuz poop makes the world go 'round.
I only got one of them the next day. :(
I was only able to go this year b/c my friends were driving!
Beer game Olympics rock. :) Something is gonna take place in October....stay tuned......
