Tiff's Awesome Afternoon in Austin

So last Saturday I went to the Town Lake H&B trail with Tiffany. We did the 3 mile loop (actually 2.76 miles due to where we parked). It was absolutely gorgeous outside! She was very impressed with how many people were out on the trail and greatly enjoyed the scenery. Afterwards, I took her over to Barton Springs to check it out. She got a snow cone and I got a corn dog. Man, I just can’t say no to those things! (What a nice healthy meal after exercising, eh?) We watched some guy doing crazy yoga stances right by the water. Don’t know how he balanced like that…he was upside down most of the time. It was funny to see some people swimming in the cold water, some folks sun bathing in swim suits, and some folks walking around with jackets and scarves on. Crazy.

After we hung out a bit by the pool we decided we needed some adult beverages. Baby A's was just down the street, so we went to check out their purple margaritas...which Tiff renamed Purple Hooters. At first we didn't really feel anything (these have Everclear and several other liquors in it), so we ordered another. Still nothing, but it was getting late and she needed to get home to get ready for her big race.

So we went our seperate ways. I stopped by the grocery store to get posterboard to make some signs. Then the drinks hit me. Man, it took me FOREVER to finish 2 signs for Tiffany's race. You can check out the signs on my next post. Here are some from our afternoon.

Baby A's had fun shirts for only $8! So we both got one. :)
