Sucky McSuckerson!

First, Texas A&M loses by 2 points to Texas Tech last night in the final seconds of the basketball game.
THEN, my car overheats on the way home last night to the point where it won't start once I refill the radiator. Had to tow my car this morning to a car repair shop.

At least I missed 3 hours of work this morning though!

P.S. Thanks to Day Old Fish for coming to my rescue last night!!!

Maybe they can fix that whole 'expired inspection sticker' as well...

As my luck would have it, this auto repair shop doesn't do state inspections...just like the place where I got my brakes fixed. I always choose the wrong place!

So, does $1300 sound like a lot for the following?
-new radiator, head gasket, pumps and hoses? Sounds high to me. :(

Head (who said head? I'll take...) gaskets are very expensive. You do not want to blow a head. OK well sometimes we do. Dang my head is in the gutter today. I must be missing out on something. To make you feel better (or worse!), I ran over a screw. No, not a nail, a screw! Only a hasher.....

There's this thing called a radiator in your car that needs to have coolant in it to keep the car from overheating. Guess you know that now. Also, if it has a leak, an egg in the radiator will fix the leak. At least temporarily.

Duh! I filled it at 5pm the day it overheated. I was always checking to make sure it was full.
