No Country for Old Men

Last night Mike, Mo and I had a kid free evening and went to the movies. We went to see this one. It wasn't what I was expecting after seeing Brownie's quote reference, but it was quite good. Violent at times, but great acting throughout...and great writing. I'm not sure I like the ending, but I don't want to give it away.

Here is what Brownie said:
great quote!
I haven't seen "No Country For Old Men," but I'm going to after I heard about this quote:

Llewellyn Moss (main character), when asked by the homocidal, maniacal killer Anton Chigurh what happened to the 2 Million dollars: "It's gone. I spent a million and a half on women and booze. I guess I just wasted the rest."

Hate to disappoint Wanker Boy, but Llewellyn didn't really spend the money on whores and booze. He was just trying to lie about not having it anymore. So no sex in this movie. Sorry. Also, he didn't say it to the homocidal, creepy, maniac guy. He said it to Woody Harrelson's character, Carson Wells. But damn....the creepy bad guy is CREEPY.

I heard it's up for many awards!

I should do the sequel - This Country IS For Old Men. We'd have old farts in it like Jack Nicholson and Burt Reynolds. There would be walkers. There would be limp you know whats and lots of Viagra. There would be incontinence (and diapers). And I think there would be a lot of laughs. Would you go see it? :)
