Acie Law, I still FUCKING LOVE YOU!!!

What a fucking great game. Back and forth, back and forth, back and forth the entire game. Final seconds of regulation...Acie Law IV sinks a 3 to send the game into OT. Final seconds of first OT...Acie sinks another 3 to send the game into the 2nd OT! Holy hell....thought I was gonna have a heart attack.

Unfortunately, we were outscored in OT #2 by 2 points. But man, it came down to the final seconds again. Acie caught the horns off guard by throwing up his 2nd free throw super fast, hittin the rim, in hopes of rebounding...but the shot didn't go A&M's way. So sad. But I can't be too upset because the game was so awesome.

So, Acie almost sent the game into a third OT. I still love you!!!

Bevo...it's what's for dinner

Not sure where I'll end up watching the game because my car is supposed to be ready to be picked up after work...but I'll be yelling loudly wherever I am!!!

Lordy Lordy, Jay is 40!

Went to my friend's birthday party this past Saturday. Jay likes to drink, but I wasn't quite sure what to expect since his party started at 3pm. I should've known better! We partied until after 4am in the morning. Oh yeah....was a great night. Can you believe those married folks still know how to party?!! Once the kids and older adults left, I broke out the dice and we played 3-Man. Some of them had never played before. Can you believe that? We even found a stupid hat in Jay's closet. :)

This is the pic Brownie is talking about in the comments section.....

My Liver Hates Me!

I've been working my liver overtime lately. Monday was the only day this week that I gave it a rest. Is that a bad thing? I'm getting a buddha beer belly too. Gotta start running again!!!

Fat Tuesday

Had a good time on Fat Tuesday night last. No beads or boob showing for me, but plenty of beer drinkin'. I learned how to brew beer for the first time! Went to my friend's house after work, ate some Plucker's and then got my first lesson in home brew. It was actually quite fun! Now I can't wait to taste the results....in one month. Whoo-hoo!

This is what we made. Mmmmm...beer.

I might have to invest in my own at home set up. :)

Hill Country Red Dress Run

Ok, so I don't think I ever posted the rest of the weekend when ILYBs was in town. So after Ginny's on Friday night, I made my way up to Killeen with Lost N Mound and Baby G to help the Hill Country Hash celebrate their 6 Analversary. When we arrived, we noticed 3 guys in little skimpy outfits...quite hilarious, especially since 2 of them were virgins!

We took a gazillion group pictures (mine didn't turn out) and then we headed off for trail and found our way to the 1st stop...shot check behind some old bar. After that we ran through a neighborhood and then we all got lost. I swear, I have never seen so many pit bulls and dogs of all sorts, all in their backyard, thinking we were some sort of threat. Even little yap yap dogs wanted to kill us. We finally made our way over to a trailer park where we were quite the entertainment for those hanging out. They kept laughing and laughing at us running around in circles. I ended up meeting Dick The Boy Wonder on trail and continued on trail with him. Well, actually, we had no clue where we were going...kind of just wandering. That middle of trail part SUCKED! I was now really thirsty, so we popped into a gas station to grab me a tall boy and him some mixer for his rum. Then whammy. We found trail again and it took us to Hooter's where we found many, many, many pitchers of cold beer waiting for us. I'm surprised we didn't get kicked out of there because there were tons of hash songs being sung...quite loudly.

After Hooter's, we somehow missed a shot check. Oh well...continued on and eventually made it to the end...another bar. Circle was held out behind the bar...and it was freezing. Don't know how those guys in the little outfits handled it. It was decided that we would move over to Penile Probe's house and finish up with circle over there. Everyone was hungry anyway and there was a chili cook off between PP and Baby G. Yum yum!

Baby G had to drink for not knowing who G was! Ok, so she really knows, but didn't have an immediate answer when asked...drunkard!

Donut finally got his hat back

The boys did a strip tease for the b-day girl

After the dance it was time for flippy cup...well, actually....strip flippy cup! But in order to play, you had to start without a shirt. So there wasn't a whole lot to lose. Luckily, the girls kicked some serious booty because we were never totally naked! After that game my memory gets fuzzy. All I know is that I woke up on the floor with a comforter. Thanks to the person who gave me a blanket!

The next morning, PP and Tuck It made us breakfast. Dee-lish! Then it was time to hit the road again. Picked up Sarah at Ticket's house and bolted back to Austin to hit the hash there. What a busy but absolutely wonderful weekend!

All the pics are here.

Ad

So, all you folks in Austin need to go pick up the Austin Chronicle...turn to page 55...look at the advertisement for CS. Holy smokes! I was a little shocked at first, and then I laughed my ass off.
And no, the ad was NOT approved by Nat and Marisa. But since it's already out there, we were thinking they should keep up this campaign with new suggestive slogans each week/month!

I'll post a pic of it soon, for those who don't live here.

Hahahaha! So there it is.

Congrats to all the marathoners...and their athletic supporters!

So, Elvis and I headed down to the beer check at 8:30am. Got down there and parked by 9am. The race started at 7am and we were there for the handing off of the very first beer...at 9:47am. Yay! After that we hit a lull, until about 3 to 3 1/2 hours in...then we finally got the beer drinkers! I had such a good time cheering folks on and passing out beer. The looks we got from some people who thought we were crazy were absolutely classic. Everyone did such a great job. Can't wait for next year!

About 1:15pm it was time to grab a quick bite to eat at Taco Cabana and then time to hit the 2pm hash. What a great day!

You can see all the marathon pics here.

Ags made a comeback!

Thank goodness! When I left for the baby shower yesterday, my Aggies were losing to OU. But we came back to beat those Sooners!

Yay!!!!! Gig 'Em Aggies!

On On to the AH3 beer booth at the Austin Marathon!

She is soooo TOTALLY my relative!!!

And she comes to visit me on March 1!!!

Ginny's HH for ILYBs

Brownie's friend from Colorado was in town, so we put a little happy hour/happy evening together for him. A bunch of Austin hashers showed up to meet him/party with him at Ginny's Little Longhorn. And a perfect day to go...Dale Watson was playing that night!

ILYBs arrived with some whiskey. Ok, so he had a larger bottle to share, but this little one was pretty funny.

Yay...someone else with their tongue out!

After Ginny's, a group of us hit up Jim's for some late night breakfast. Yum yum!

Sorry I didn't get a shot of everyone...I was either too busy drinking or trying to 2-step!

All the pics are here.

Sucky McSuckerson!

First, Texas A&M loses by 2 points to Texas Tech last night in the final seconds of the basketball game.
THEN, my car overheats on the way home last night to the point where it won't start once I refill the radiator. Had to tow my car this morning to a car repair shop.

At least I missed 3 hours of work this morning though!

P.S. Thanks to Day Old Fish for coming to my rescue last night!!!

Note to self

When you ride to Killeen with a friend who lives with a cop, do NOT park your car in front of their house if you have an expired inspection sticker!

Snowdown Recap

Ok, so on the Thursday night before Snowdown, we all gathered at Bone Sucker's house to load up the car and pack the luggage on top of the car. Seven hashers in one Suburban...until we got to Odessa...Then 8 hashers in a 7-seat 'burban. Was gonna be a cozy ride. Ended up taking out the 3rd seat once we got to Odessa in order to make more room. Turned out to be kind of nice because you could lie down and sleep a little. At one pit stop/gas refueling, I got out of the car to play in the snow. Whoo-hoo! Snow!!! We also hit a snow storm while driving. Luckily, no ice...just snow. What a pretty sight.

Anyway, we were pretty close to Durango when it was about lunch time on Friday. So we pulled over to eat at the Triangle Cafe. Wow. You should have seen how much food they served us. I swear, each plate could feed at least 2 people...maybe 3! I asked for a side of gravy and got a gigantic bowl of it. Everyone in that place was pretty huge too.

Think we got to the hash hotel around 1pm. So we had an hour to check in and mill around before we could check in with hash registration. Ran into some old friends from previous hashes and met some new folks. Hashers are so darn friendly! I just love going to out of town events.

Ok, so don't have time to finish recapping everything and people want the pics. I didn't really even take that many on this trip...oh well. Let's just say this:
  • 16 hours is a long time in a Suburban with 8 people when it only seats 7
  • Apple pie shots in the hot tub are fun!
  • Making snow angels is cool when you rarely get to see snow
  • Always bring your Camelbak to a Colorado trail b/c who knows when you'll finally get to the beer check!
  • Zuberfizz Soda Shop was a great hasher hangout bar thingee-ma-bopper
  • Drunken, naked, secret lovers makes for good jokes the entire weekend
  • Are your headlights on?
  • Your meat is so big!
  • Ska beer and my stomach do not get along
  • Wish I would've discovered the waffle machine earlier!
  • The Ska hash float won for best music
  • Secret rendezvous meetings are fun
  • Midget porn!
  • Finding poop and poop references on trail for my Kimchi buddies was classic
  • Next year: skip the follies and go hot tubbing!
  • Bone Sucker and Dead Whore Dave hauled ASS while I slept in the cargo area in order to get me to work semi-on time Monday morning. Thanks guys!
  • We found booty on trail
  • Arrrrr!
  • And this classic line, Thanks for bringing in all the white folks, Woody. It really cleans up the place!

Pics are here.

Chester and Trivia and lots and lots o'beer

Got a call yesterday around 3:30pm saying there was gonna be a happy hour out at Ski Shores. Great little place, but kind of out in BFE. Then 30 minutes later got another call...location was switched to C. Hunt's. YAY! A lot closer and easier to get to. Plus, who doesn't love chatting with Chester?!

It was a beautiful day out (think about 73 degrees), clear blue skies, etc. I met Strap-On Elvis and Day Old Fish there as soon as I got off work. Munson from Plucker's was there as well. Soon after more and more folks showed up. Bubbles the Sad Beer Clown, Free Meat, Kristin from Plucker's, Bad Jimmy, Peter...am I missing anyone? After many, many, many, many, many buckets of beer, we decided to head over to Plucker's for trivia and some food. Hadn't gone up for trivia in a LONG time. It was actually quite fun! My favorite round has to be Name That Tune. Oh yeah, and for you folks not familiar with trivia at the Pluck, it's not like NTN trivia where you have a box and watch the TV screen. There is a guy on a microphone calling out the questions and playing the songs, etc. And he drinks while he is hosting the game....so he gets pretty damn funny! Oh, good ol' Duffy. Wh-Oreo joined us at some point and we kept drinking away. The Wednesday special is $3 for a Mother Plucker Mug. That's 34 ounces of beer for 3 bucks! Hells yeah! Anyway, we came in 4th. Somehow I safely made it home. Stripped off my clothes, jumped in bed and recorded the hash hotline. I listened to some of it this morning to make sure I saved it correctly...thought it would've sounded more slur-like. Oh well.

On-On to Ginny's on Friday night!

P.S. I didn't have my camera in my purse like I usually do, so no pics! Only ones we took on Elvis' phone.

P.P.S. I had such a great time last night!!!!!

Snowdown 2007

Ok, here are just a few quick pics. I'll post more about Snowdown later, but I need to get out of work and get my ass to C. Hunt's...stat!

The Femmes and burgers?

While driving to work this morning, I heard a commercial for Wendy's on the radio. The background instrumental music of the add was Blister In The Sun from the Violent Femmes! Thought that was pretty funny, especially if you know the lyrics.

Love that song, by the way. :)

Jan 28 continued.....

Went to the hash. Drank a lot at the hash. We tried to recruit the cute guy with the lab into becoming a hasher. He stayed for one beer then had to go. Met the Houston guys who were in town to promote their 1500 Runs event.

The Houston Guys

Laughed at Pumper doing the Up Jump the Monkey song.

Learned how to make a Flask of Doom, but didn't get to taste it. Went to Ginny's Little Longhorn to show Tiffany what Chicken Shit Bingo was all about...only to have just missed it. Apparently Gagger the Biter and Licker came out....just see the pics. Went back to a friend's house to drink more (as if that was needed) and ended up passing out on their futon. Woke up at 5:50am the next morning and saw the unopened beer on the coffee table. Oh well.

Living up to my hash name....

Hash trash is here.

Pics from the hash are here.

Pics from Ginny's are here.

Dude

So after the Junta HH and Junta meeting, I was supposed to go home to pack and get ready for Snowdown. What did I do? I went to the Hideout for one beer. Went to Chon Som for one beer. Now I'm about to go to bed w/o doing a lick of packing. I am gonna try to get up early (those words aren't reallly in my vocabulatery). If I get up early to pack, then I can also wash my hair and be rady to go straight to Bone Sucker's house straight from work tomorrow. I'm probbly gonna end up havin gto come home during lunch to pack and maybe even leave rarly since I suck at gettin gup early.

ohj yeah, and I suck at typing tonight. and don't veel like back spacing to correct everything. so suck it! See you cats later. I'm off to sleepy dreams. Sure hope I see snow this weekend!!!!!!!!!!!!!
