Still Buzzed?

Is it possible to still be buzzed from last night's drinking? I believe so!

Had a co-worker's going away happy hour yesterday at Vivo's. It started at 4pm. I left around 8pm. They're known for their strong margaritas. Yummy. The Vivo Rio is just as delicious. Wasn't ready to go home and unpack so that I can re-pack for PV, so I called up some Full Moon folks and found them at the beer check....the Draught House. (Damn that chain!) Then followed them back to TAF and SMB's house for more drinking and circle. I have no idea what time I went to sleep. Woke up this morning on their couch. Man, I'm tired. Pics to follow later.

Hashers in the News

In case you aren't on any hash lists or have been living under a rock...the story about how hashers closed down an IKEA in Connecticut is here. Be sure to click on the video link. It made me laugh when I saw how much caution tape was everywhere. Oh yeah, and it's now on ABC news too!

But the funny thing is the Orlando H3's response to this. They hashed through the parking lot of their IKEA....and had a run-in with the cops.

Here is the excerpt.....

The Other Orlando H3s run in with police last week. Another lesson learned

Subject: RE: running club causes alarm of terrorist

Common sense was thrown right out the window. I have to wonder what happened between the cops and the hashers. Usually if you are polite to the cops, they are polite back. For some reason they felt they had toarrest somebody. I have to think that once the emotions die out and people realize how stupid it all is the charges will be dropped. Just to show our solidarity we laid trail through the Ikea parking lot in Orlando on Saturday. :-)

Thursday night we had a run in with the cops when we were doing ourfinal trail recce. Something about machetes and walking through ashopping center. We had a bit of trail right at the beginning through some woods leading into the back side of an apartment complex. I'm thinking hacking our way through this with machetes probably isn't the best idea (one of my few correct insights). We hacked our way through, made our way through the complex, crawling under a fence on the frontside. We decided it was best to put the machetes away. We did. We were trying to be discrete by holding them up along our arms as we walked back to our cars.

We walked along the backside of a bunch of shops and stuff that were out buildings in the shopping center. We had cut through the Panda Express drive through, across a field and back toour cars. Then we ran back to the where we'd come out of the apartments to finish our trail recce. We (3 of us) were standing at a bus stop discussing where to put marks and who was going which way when 7 cop cars and one cop dog showed up with lights blazing. We stood there wondering what was going on until they surrounded us. That's when it dawned on us; we were their interest.

Cop-1 comes up and says, "Higuys. Got a minute?" I said, "What can we do for you officer?"

Cop-2 comes up and says, "Have you seen a couple of guys with machetes?"
Cop-1 is in front of us, Cop-2 is beside us. Tactically it is very good. They are 90 degrees to each other so they are out of each other's line of fire. It's amazing how you notice such details when you suspect your life is about to turn to s***.

Cops 3, 4, 5 & 6 and the Cop dog are at various positions around us, all within about 50 yards.

Cop 7 (we found out later) was staking out our cars. I said, "Yeah, that would be us. We were hacking a trail through the woods behind that apartment complex for our running group. Why?"

Cop-1, "We had a call about 2 guys with machetes walking around. In this area that gets our attention."

Me, "Oh. We've finished with that part and put them away. We are part of a running group and we are setting a trail in this area for Saturday. We wanted to go through those woods and then across the field and out that way (me pointing out the backside of the mall)."All the time I'm explaining this to Cop-1, Cop-2 is relaying this to a faceless person on the radio.

Faceless Radio Person, "Are they hash house harriers?"

Cop-2 looks at me with a quizzical expression, and I say, "Yes we are. We're one of the local chapters." I thought it was pretty obvious since I was wearing a hasher t-shirt and headband.

Cop-2 relays this information to Faceless Radio Person. Cop-2 goes off to talk to Cop-3. Cop-1 continues to entertain (readpolitely detain) us. I'm explaining all about the Hash House Harriers.

Cop-1 is starting to laugh and says it sounds like a lot of fun.

Cops 4 and 5 are milling about purposely in the background.
Cop 4 is letting the dog have a pee break and sniff around, fortunately a good distance from us.

Cop-6 comes up and takes charge. He doesn't bother to introduce himself nor does he have any rank insignia. He proceeds to give us the business about walking around in public with machetes. He tells us the report they got was 2 guys with machetes walking through the Panda Express, one guy is covered in blood. None of us were even wearing red. People will see what they want to see. I asked him if having a machete was illegal. "No," he says. But it did cause them concern.

He then told us we had to move our cars because the Devry University didn't want us there anymore. I thought it prudent not to ask about the lack of no parking, or towaway signs or anything that said "Devry University Parking Only." They refused to give us a ride back to our cars. We walked back and as we went through the Panda Express drive through one more time (3rd) we stopped and made faces at the security camera.

I guess they cops felt they had to exercise their authority and make us do something. The amusing part was at no time did they ask for ID, nor did they ask our names. Neither did they caution us about being on private property. Once they found out we were harmless they pretty much wanted to get rid of us without any paperwork.

When we got back to our cars Cop-7 and Cop-6 were waiting for us. I asked Cop-6, "Didn't you trust us?"Cop-6 smiles and says, "Just checking." "I'm hurt," I reply. We got in our cars and got the hell out of there. I'm sure they knew who we were if they ran the license plates. I'm sure that once they figured out we were harmless all they wanted to do was get us out of there so they could go back to doing whatever cop stuff they do. It was an amusing incident and cost us several down-downs.

Look what the Aggie won

At our all-staff meeting this morning, we were told to wear our favorite collegiate or professional team shirts. The whole thing was baseball themed. I, of course, wore my Aggie shirt. I also had my Astros jersey in tow to show my support of them...and also in case I got cold. Our building is normally freezing. And, the Aggie shirt was a little tighter than what I normally wear to work.

Anyway, there was a drawing for prizes at the end of the meeting. Guess what this Aggie won?? A Longhorn t-shirt signed by Augie Garrido (sp?). Nice. Just what I wanted....not! Everyone was kind of pissed that I won it since my work is full of longhorns. They thought I'd use it to wash my car. Well, it turns out that my brother's b-day is tomorrow...August 28. He went to that orange school and the shirt was his size. Worked out quite nicely. So I shipped it off to him this afternoon. I'm such a good sis.

Protest

Ok, so trying to catch up before my vacation.....

Two Fridays ago I went to Chon Som's Anniversary Dinner. Stayed out partying much later than I planned and only got 4 1/2 hours of sleep. Rolled out of bed at 5am to get down South since I was volunteering at the Protest Duathlon. Damn, that alarm clock went off too early.

Got down to the starting point at 6am. It was still quite dark out. Didn't have quite the rush of folks until about 7am. Race began at 7:34 am.

After the race and the awards, a group of us went for lunch and drinks at Maudie's.

Wiley even wore his cape that he won from the race. Pretty funny. After drinks, brunch and more drinks we closed the tab and said we were leaving. Only to order another round. I would've stayed for more after that if I wasn't the host of NBC that evening. I still had to get home to walk the dogs, get to the grocery store, cook a casserole, shower and get the rest of the snacks prepped....and I only had about 3 hours. Did I mention that I needed a nap too? I ended up crashing on the couch after walking the dogs and only had 45 minutes for the grocery store, shower and casserole baking! Oh well. Everything worked out....eventually.

The last 3 drinkers.

You can see all of the pics here.

Oh yeah. Panther gave the volunteers a cool Brooks hat and an AD shirt. Then, they wouldn't let me pay for lunch. Hellooooo! I told them I was hoping to get more inspired to work out just by being around all of those fit ADers. I've been so-so on working out lately, but want to do more. So it was a win-win situation. Carol and I have been meeting now 3 times a week since we aren't doing a boot camp this month. It's our own Team O Camp. :)

After I finally got to bed on Saturday night, I couldn't sleep in Sunday morning. Breakfast at with relatives in town. What a fun, but busy weekend!

YAY!!!!!!!!

Just found out that Toddypants (Elvis) and Billie are on my flight from Austin to Puerto Vallarta this Thursday. Whoop!!!!!!

Now I need to check out the seat assignments so I can have drinking buddies......

I "Knead" Focaccia!

So on Wednesday, Carol and I had to postpone our Mount Bonnell workout due to unforeseen circumstances. After taking care of the pups this evening, we met up at the bottom of the steps. For 36 minutes we went up and down and up and down and up and down, etc. Definitely much more fun than a stairmaster.....and it came with a gorgeous view of Lake Austin! The only sucky thing was the mosquitos. I swear, they love me for some reason. Carol didn't get one bite. I need to put my bug spray back in my car. DIE MOTHER F*CKERS, DIE!

Afterwards we tried out a new place for dinner...Kneaded Pleasures. Damn, it was GOOD! I definitely suggest the Turkey Club. I'm in love with their focaccia bread. I can't wait to go back. :) And bonus...they have wifi.

I'm glad my headache from this morning finally went away. Guess I drank way too much at the softball game and at Plucker's last night....but oh, was it fun!

Around and Around I Go

Met Carol up at the Murchison track tonight. My dad came out as well. Man, there were a lot of folks up there tonight. Several groups along with other individuals like us. Very popular place this evening. Anyway, we walked and ran for 36 minutes. Around and around the track. Only burned 291 calories. But we had planned on this being an easier night. So we stopped to do some lunges and stuff. After about 5 minutes we couldn't keep the damn bugs off us. It got pretty bad. Some of them looked like flying ants. Next time I need to remember the bug spray!

Tomorrow I think we're gonna go to Mount Bonnell. Walk up the stairs and run down and around. Run up the stairs and run down and around. Lunge up the stairs, etc. I'm really liking doing something different each workout day!

"Your Face, Our Balls"

'Faceball' Craze Hitting Cubicles Around The Globe.

Have you heard of this? I sure haven't. Sure would be fun to nail an annoying co-worker in the face though! They even say it's "as necessary as beer pong." Hey, I foresee a new game for the Kimchis to play.....Could you keep your face still while a ball was flung in your direction?

Faceball video clip here.

Faceball web site here. There is also a funny informational video on the web site. Not funny Ha Ha, but in that it's so slow and elementary school like....

Workin' out with Fam

I am skipping Saturday's events for now.....

At breakfast on Sunday morning, my step-mom Carol and I decided to start up our own workout routine. She had come to my boot camp class back on the last day of that session earlier this month, but didn't think she could make it out to Pflugerville 3 nights a week at a certain time. Plus, due to my PV trip, I am broke right now!

SO, we decided to walk from her house to my mom's house (since I'm still dog sitting). Just walk you say? Well, yes. It is 3 miles between the 2 houses and there are LOTS of hills. So after I took care of the pups, I drove to my dad and step-mom's house at 6:30pm. At 6:41pm we were off. It took us 55 minutes to walk over to my mom's. Damn, some of those hills were tough. Went inside for an ice cold water and to say hi to the pups. I was also hungry since I hadn't eaten dinner yet. Pulled out some fruit. Man, that really hit the spot. I asked her a question about some of the plants I was also caring for and next thing I know we're on the back porch checking them all out. (FYI....my mom has a crapload of plants.)

So finally we say we've rested way too long and take off back to Carol's. We jogged here and there, but not a whole lot. She isn't a runner at all and I have no endurance anymore. By the time we got to the low water crossing at Bull Creek, it was totally dark. And we had no flashlight and very little reflective clothing on. Not sure if you guys know Lakewood Drive over by Bull Creek, but it's DARK down there and the road is quite narrow with trees that overhang and touch in the middle. Needless to say, once we crossed the creek, we hauled booty. Kind of felt like we were in a bad slasher flick and someone was gonna jump out of the trees and bushes. Especially since this one truck who passed us right before the creek turned into the park and faced the road...like they were waiting for us to get near them. (Actually, I never saw that truck parked...Carol just told me about it later.)

Once we made it through that narrow area without getting hit by a car, we were home free. The lights on 360 were nice and we only had one hill at the very end to get up. That was my last challenge and I decided to run up it. Ok, I'm more of a jogger, but whatever. I made it!

Damn. Water never tasted to good. My dad got home from work shortly after so I stayed to chat with him too. Finally, I noticed that it was 10:05pm and I still needed dinner. So I drove back to my mom's, walked the dogs and finally ate.

Tonight we are gonna mix it up and do some track work and core exercises. We need a school with a track and bleachers in our part of town. She is gonna check out Anderson High School this afternoon. Otherwise, we'll just hit Murchison and use the hill on the side of the track instead of bleachers.

I love my new workout buddy!

p.s. My Polar watch says I burned 462 calories on the 1st half, 482 calories on the 2nd half...for a grand total of 944. Would've been interesting for Brownie to have worn one on his 100 miler!

One More Drink.....

I joined a big group of friends up at Chon Som on Friday night to celebrate their 1 year anniversary. Man, it was PACKED! Planned on only staying for dinner and a few drinks. I was getting up at 4:45am to be a volunteer at a race so I didn't want to party all night. Yeah right. That didn't happen. It was so great seeing folks I hadn't seen in a while. Kept getting talked into "one more drink." Then it was, "Let's go to Homer's." So I finally left CS and headed to Homer's for ONE drink. That place was freaking smokey. I really only had one beer there because I needed to hit a gas station before midnight to get my 40 of OE so I could make a brass monkey during/after the race I was working. WELL, the place that I know of in the area that sells OE was totally sold out! I only had 5 minutes to get to another convenience store...didn't happen. Oh well. I still had a few beers as well as stuff for mimosas to take.

Got home, let out the pups and made it into bed around 12:30am. Rolled outta bed at 5am to get down south for the Protest Duathlon. More on that later. I need to get to bed.

Congratulations Brownie!

Wow. I just don't know how a person runs for 28 hours and 38 minutes with a little break of 15 minutes after mile 50, but it looks like that's what Brownie did! Haven't heard the entire story of the last 50 miles, but it's still amazing. So while I was all cozy in my bed last night, sleeping for 7 hours, that wanker was out running in the middle of the night. So everyone go congratulate him here! And hey, he will now be the proud owner of a silver belt buckle, just in time for his return to Texas. Hee hee hee.

Missin' Music

Bummer! Found out I will be missing some good music over Labor Day Weekend at the Nutty Brown Cafe. Bob Schneider and Grupo Fantasma will be playing on Sept. 1st and Gary Allan on Sept. 3rd. Boo-hiss. Ok, ok, I know I will be having the time of my life down in Puerto Vallarta and all....but still!

Sept 22 says Cowboy Mouth. I've never seen them live, but heard they put on a kick-ass show. Hmm......

Free Day to F*ck!

Russian region announces a National Day of Screwing. Here in the US we already have that, and it's on April 15.

Russians get day off to procreate, then win prizes
By The Denver Post
Article Last Updated: 08/15/2007 12:42:25 AM MDT

Moscow - A Russian region of Ulyanovsk has found a novel way to fight the nation's birth-rate crisis: It has declared Sept. 12 (also my birthday!) the Day of Conception and for the third year running is giving couples time off from work to procreate.

The hope is for a brood of babies exactly nine months later on Russia's national day. Couples who "give birth to a patriot" during the June 12 festivities win money, cars, refrigerators and other prizes.

Ulyanovsk, about 550 miles east of Moscow, has held similar contests since 2005. Since then, the number of competitors, and the number of babies born to them, has been on the rise.
Russia, with one-seventh of Earth's land surface, has just 141.4 million citizens, making it one of the most sparsely settled countries in the world. With a low birth rate and a high death rate, the population has been shrinking since the early 1990s.

In his state-of-the-nation address last year, President Vladimir Putin called the demographic crisis the most acute problem facing Russia and announced a broad effort to boost Russia's birth rate, including cash incentives to families that have more than one child.

Ulyanovsk Gov. Sergei Morozov has added an element of fun to the national campaign.
The 2007 grand prize went to Irina and Andrei Kartuzov, who received a UAZ-Patriot, a sport utility vehicle. Other contestants won video cameras, TVs, refrigerators and washing machines.

Summer Yum

Lesley and I decided to try out the South Lamar Plucker's last night. We also tried out some of their specialty drinks instead of beer. These are the perfect summer drinks! I had the Psychedelic Frog...yummy! And of course, she made us order the El Guapo queso. After that AND dinner, I was miserable driving home. But hey, I have leftover Plucker's for breakfast this morning now. :)

Keep South Austin Weird Hash Rocked!

I am so glad that my first hash in a few weeks was this past Sunday's hash. Wanksgiving and BBK hared an awesome hash! We had shiggy, trails, creeks, tunnels, railroad tracks, pavement, scenic landmarks, a hydration station at a car wash, water balloons thrown by an old school hasher from the past, random umbrellas hanging on a trail, a playhouse, a Leslie spotting, multiple beer checks, entertainment at the On-In and an On-In close enough to Barton Springs Pool so that we could take a dip in it afterwards. Hells yeah!

Oh yeah, and it was also Social Retard's F*ck Off Hash. :(

The pack at the 1st water/beer check.

Social and I asked the hot biker guy to jump us...

Then the rest of the pack wanted in on it.

After circle was over, a small group of us went for a dip in Barton Springs Pool. It felt AWESOME after a long hot day in the sun. (I had been out at a softball tournament since 9am that day.)

Then we went for some beers at Barton Springs Saloon to say goodbye to Social Retard. She left for Colorado today. Boo-hiss. :(

Strap-On Elvis took orders from us and walked next door to P. Terry's Burger Stand. Those burgers were f*cking delicious! Maybe it was because I had tons of beer that day, maybe not. I need to try one again sometime when I'm sober.
P.S. The fries sucked. Don't waste your time...just get 2 burgers!

You can see all of the pics here.

Fark!

Fark posted a hash article yesterday . Unfortunately, I didn't get to run with these folks when I was in town last month. :(

Read about it here.

August Pub Run

So last Thursday I was officially dog sitting for my mom. I skipped out of work 30 minutes early, went home to take the pups on a long walk, fed them and then changed clothes for the Back to School Pub Run. Picked up Two Drinks Away From My Sister and we headed down to Jack & Adam's for the start. A lot of folks dressed up, so it was fun to see everyone's outfits.

The first order of business was to find out who the lucky number 100 was in registering as an Austin Duathlete. I think they got a free membership for the year, in addition to a pretty cool gift bag of stuff. And guess who won? Stay Free With Wings! I've never seen him on a pub run before and he comes out and wins. It was good seeing the very first hasher who almost killed me! Yep, my first trail was a Stay Free trail.....those are tough. But I lived and continued to hash.

Ok, so I'm off on another tangent......

This was also the first pub run for Grabber to attend.

Here we are at the Side Bar.

Some new friends.

Tim & Carri at Darwin's

JJ

Darwin's is always a fun stop. They have cheap beer and great music. I asked Panther why it's always our 2nd stop...it should be the last one, or at least 2nd to last! Anyway, good times at Darwin's. I had my very fist vodka bomb. It was excellent! Thanks to Two Drinks for suggesting that one. :) Oh yeah, Darwin's was our first spotting of Lulu.....and man, she had been drinking for a while already! She got up on the bar and shook her booty. I have no idea how she didn't fall off or kick over anyone's drinks.

Panther also entertained us with his cheerleading skills.

From there we headed to Wahoo's Fish Tacos. I'd never been there before and it seemed like a cool place. Had some shots here with Grabber....Jameson, of course. That's when I noticed the mustard bottle next to some wine and wine glasses. What's that all about?

Holy smokes....I lost the longest tongue challenge!

The last stop was the Gingerman. Probably a good thing that the numbers had cleared out...we had all had a lot to drink by now. At the very end I remember 4 of us being there.

Beer and Bacon....ok, beer and bacon flavored toothpicks! Apparently, I thought they were kick-ass that night.....

We all decided it was probably time to call it quits. I still needed to drive to my mom's house to take care of the dogs. Kenny and I took a pedicab back to our cars and I made it home safely to find some doggy throw up on the floor of the laundry room. Left that for the next day. I was starving because I never ate dinner. Saw some bananas on the counter and downed one. At least, I found the peel remains on the counter the next morning and deduced that one.....

You can see all of the pics here. What a GREAT TIME!!!! Can't wait for the September run. :)

Numbnutz Maneuver of the Day!

Ok, so I had an appointment at 12:45pm today. Afterwards I didn't have much time left during my lunch hour (actually, I had already used up the hour...). So I decided to stop in Taco Cabana real quick for a soft taco. I then walked across the street to Tiff's Treats to get a cookie (damn, they are GOOOOOOOD) and while reaching for my money I notice that I don't see any keys. WTF? Did I leave them at Taco C? I walk back across the street and look inside my car....yep. Car keys sitting on the passenger seat. I have never locked myself out of my car before. This sucks. I had planned on finishing up a lot of projects because
1. I want to leave work a bit early to take care of the dogs before the pub run, and
2. I was planning on...cough, cough...being *sick* tomorrow. I mean, I'll feel like arse the day after a pub crawl anyways, if I do it right! AND, everyone is pretty much out of the office tomorrow due to the Board Retreat, vacations and out of town presentations.

My dad rocks! Thank goodness my dad had the day off and was at home because he has my spare key. He came right over to help me out. Love you Dad!

Ok, back to work. I need to print off 1823 personalized fundraising letters....

Syringe Shots!

On Friday I tried to get some folks to go see the Bourne Ultimatum. One friend told me to skip the movie and meet them for drinks. It was the end of the quarter and all the Dell folks were boozin' it up. Some got to leave work at 3pm, some 4pm. I of course, worked until 5pm and was almost to Opal Divine's when I got the change of venue text. They were moving to the Tilted Kilt.

From there we wanted a dive bar. We thought the Common Interest sounded fun, plus Robyn had a friend who was supposed to be there. I mentioned the Mad Cowboys at Carousel, but that got shot down because it was further away and we were already meeting someone at CI. Did you know that it has been totally remodled? I forgot that it burned down and hadn't seen how they fixed it up. It actually looks too nice now! Not the smokey dive bar that I recall. But I'm glad that it didn't smell like smoke anymore.

I've never seen this before. I mean, I took tequila shots out of a syringe at the 1st I Can't Believe It's Not Mexico H3 campout, but never a syringe jello shot! It was weird, but fun at the same time.

We were the only table in the entire place that had fun with the shots. I mean, seriously...how could you not play with them?!

Don't think we're in the correct order, but oh well....we had been drinking awhile!

The guy in the black shirt is the one who kept buying us all of the syringe shots. Thanks Dell guy!

Beth sang Black Velvet.

Much later that night we decided it was time to head out because we were hungry. Ended up having a slumber party at my casa since Beth and Robyn couldn't drive. Good times, good times.

F-you, Bob!

Stolen from the AD training blog......thought I'd share with the hashers!

Funny video can be seen here.

The Panty Caper

Seriously?? What kind of weirdos do I work with?!?

Ok, so yesterday afternoon I walk by my co-worker's office and 2 other folks are in there as well...all of them are laughing. They call me in and tell me I should go look in the downstairs bathroom closest to the kitchen.

This is what I found. Looks like the bottom of a jog bra, maybe?

Wrong!

Someone seriously hung their thick, black cotton undies over the bathroom stall door!

They didn't look wet like they were drying from something. We tried to figure out why someone would even hang them there to begin with. Maybe they were changing at the end of the day to go work out and forgot them? Nope. They weren't there yesterday morning but they were there in the afternoon. And I know that nobody at my place of employment works out during lunch. I got dropped from our corporate program at Gold's because we couldn't even get 10 people to sign up this year.

We thought it was quite bizarre. Still don't know who the culprit was. But at least it gave us some laughs yesterday.

P.S. They were gone this morning when I arrived. Someone told me our building services/maintenance guy threw them away today. Hahaha!

Bruised Knees and Such....

My knees got bruised last night......from boot camp! Oh yeah, and all of my muscles are sore. Those bleacher drills on Monday night kicked my booty. I woke up at 4am and could barely get off the couch to get up to use the restroom. Yes, I slept on the couch last night...washed my sheets and haven't put them back on my bed yet. I ended up going to Strap-On Elvis' house straight from class to help him and a couple of others unload his U-Haul. If you haven't heard...he bought a new house! Then we hung out and ate dinner. Got home late and didn't have the energy to make my bed.

Anyway, the past 2 nights were really tough workouts, but that's a good thing. I'm trying to get my lazy arse back in shape and running just hasn't sounded good lately. So I'm enjoying doing random exercises that are different every single class.

My mom gave me one of those Polar watches that shows your heart rate and calories burned, etc. Damn, Monday's workout had me reaching the highest BPM so far. I need to work on that. I've got several workouts logged now and will be charting those eventually. I'm curious to see them all laid out at once. Only drawback to the watch is that it's pink. Yeah, I know. I haven't liked that color since 6th and 7th grade. I guess a little pink in my life won't kill me. I mean, it was free! Thanks mom. :)

Junta Hooligans

Wow. Who knew a Junta meeting could be so much fun?! (FYI: that's what the Austin Hash calls Mismanagement.) Last Friday we met at TAF's house at 7pm for the meeting (of course, the drinking started right away). We discussed the topics at hand, etc. Once the meeting adjourned, all but 4 of us remained...the alcoholics! If you've never been to TAF and SMB's house, well....let's just say their bar is awesome! TAF made many different concoctions for us to drink. The killer was the Reindeer's Tear. It's a combo of vodka and some weird liquor from another country. Wow....that one was potent!

Here we are doing shots of who knows what. That picture is from a previous Tex-Mex Butt Scramble that says, "Brownie is a Wanker!"

An OLD Stella tap that was quite heavy.

Anyone for a Dirty Sanchez?

That is one of Zippy's old horns.

All the pics are here.

Thanks to TAF for letting my drunk arse crash at his house. I was in no shape to drive! And you know what? He doesn't let his guests leave the next morning without breakfast and a hangover drink. Not sure what it was....some kind of orange fizzy drink that you get overseas. Tasted a whole lot better than that Emergen-C crap. What a great host!
